The Hawkesbury Valley is one of the oldest Australian settlements and first explored by Governor Phillip in 1789. The Hawkesbury racing pioneers fashioned a race course from 200 acres of virgin bush land in 1865 which led to the first race meeting being conducted on the course in 1871. This racecourse has been in continuous use for over 135 years.

Featuring a variety of conference, meeting and event facilities. These venues are set amongst manicured and well appointed grounds. Two race meetings per month are held at the Race Club. Within close proximity to a number of activities, such as golf, paintball skirmish kayaking, squash, ten pin bowling, whitwater rafting and many other scenic activities.
