Peter Seppelt is the 5th generation Seppelt to continue the winemaking tradition. For 33 years Peter has been working and developing the property and its 120 hectares here at Grand Cru Estate. The sound of the water trickling over the bronze birdbath welcomes relaxation and a memorable visit. Grand Cru Esate is the 'hidden gem' of the Barossa and Eden Valley offering the garden of Eden for all to enjoy over a wood oven pizza, fine wine, and atmosphere hard to leave behind.

The ambience of the Red Room welcomes relaxation and comfort and is candle lit in the evening. The wood fires will be roaring during the cooler months. We are child friendly however ask for supervision at all times to respect a beautiful garden and courtyard. Many sit back and feel totally relaxed whilst enjoying a Wood Oven pizza and a glass or two of our Peter Seppelt wines.

The Red Room and surrounding areas is also available for private celebrations such as small weddings (up to 40 guests), anniversaries, Engagement parties, birthday celebrations and business functions.

Nestled in its private and peaceful location amongst 300 acres of English gardens, parklands, Red Gums and vineyards, it's the perfect location for your special day. Come and celebrate your love in a historice venue that allows you the freedom to create your own unique style and unforgettable excperience.

Dining is available in our beautiful entrance room and Cellar Door, fondly nicknamed the “Red Room”. The Red Room seats comfortably up to 30 guests in the main room, the back veranda with antique long table seats 12 - 20 but is perfect for an informal & relaxed gathering for greater numbers.

For larger celebrations, our Wine Store Room offers dining in the aromatic ambience of a working winery. With newly built Wood Ovens pizza, roasts and specialty menus can accommodate your group happily with more room to celebrate. This building is perfect for group between 40 to120 guests, and is ideal for that exclusive reception for a milestone Birthday, Anniversary, or corporate meeting, set amongst the wine barrels and romantically lit by real candelabra.
