A night at The Everleigh is a unique Melbourne experience. After entering through an American diner, walking down a dim-lit hallway and climbing a few stairs, you are whisked back in time to a bar reminiscent of the golden era, dedicated to classic cocktails and service. The Everleigh opened its doors on July 4th 2011. It has since been named Gourmet Traveller’s ‘Bar of the Year’ (2013), The Age’s ‘Bar of the Year’ (2012), and both ‘Cocktail Bar of the Year’ (2014), and ‘Bar of the Year’, (2015) by Time Out.The Everleigh has also placed in the highly coveted ‘World’s 50 Best Bars’ list courtesy of Drinks International in 2013 and 2014. The Elk Room opened on June 4th 2013.

Located down a dark narrow hallway inside the Everleigh, it was designed to be an extension of the main bar to cater to the weekend crowds and private events. Built entirely by Madrusan and his family, The Elk Room has gone above and beyond its original simple conception and formed an identity of its own, offering an array of entirely unique experiences to customers of The Everleigh. The Everleigh’s Elk Room is available exclusively for private events and location hire 7 days a week. This boutique venue is licensed until 1am, accommodating up to 30 people seated and a maximum of 80 standing.
