Sport SA is the leader of sport in SA. The South Australian Sports Federation Incorporated (Sport SA) was established in 1991 as the peak sports industry professional association, providing industry advocacy, training and professional support to over 155 members and affiliated bodies in the industry.

Sport SA is a registered training organisation (RTO No 2280) delivering quality training and assessment for individual students and industry within the vocational education and training (VET) sector. Sport SA provides nationally accredited and non-accredited training for workforce development, athletes and administrators seeking employment within the Sport and Recreation Industry.Our current scope of delivery is from the Sport, Fitness and Recreation Training Package, with delivery in all Australian states. Our delivery includes qualifications from Certificate II to Diploma in the areas of Sport, Fitness, Sport and Recreation, Aquatics, Sports Trainer and Sport Development. Sport SA has well established programs within the VET in Schools sector and offers tailored training programs in full-time or part-time traineeships.

All students undertaking nationally recognised training delivered by a registered training organisation will need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). A USI gives students access to their online USI account which is made up of ten numbers and letters. Sport SA will be unable to issue any Qualification or Statement of Attainment without your USI. Sport SA is an approved VET FEE-HELP provider. VET FEE-HELP is a student loan scheme to help students pay tuition fees for eligible courses at approved training providers. VET FEE-HELP covers tuition fees only.

As an approved Skills for Allkills for All provider, Sport SA students are able to access more qualifications at a lower cost. Skills for All is a South Australian government initiative that helps more people to start training, complete that training and gain employment. The Sport SA Industry Skills Centre has various Training Rooms available for hire, including single and double meeting rooms with quarter, half day and full day competitive rates on offer. Discounted rates apply to Sport SA Members.

All of the rooms at the Sport SA Industry Skills Centre have reverse cycle air-conditioning, internet access and there is on site parking for your convenience. Tea and coffee facilities and access to the kitchen are available upon request.
